Seamless integration

Plug into your existing workflow in minutes

No new software, no new room, and no dedicated training program. The HyperLight is designed to work the way your practice already works.

  1. 01

    Unbox and power on

Battery is charged, tube voltage and current are fixed, and the Smart Angulation System is built in. There is no mounting, wiring, or IT setup to coordinate before the first exposure.

  2. 02

Use the sensor and software you already have

The HyperLight is a source only — it does not connect to the receptor or communicate with your practice software. Any digital sensor, PSP plate, or film works exactly as it does now.

  3. 03

    Set exposure on the unit

Exposure time is the only variable you adjust, from 0.02–2.0 s. kV and mA are fixed at 65 kV / 2.5 mA, so there are fewer settings for different staff members to interpret.

  4. 04

Image at the chair, not the X-ray room

No dedicated operatory or wall mount is required. Position the unit, align with the built-in angulation guide, expose, and move to the next patient. Support is in Salt Lake City if you need it.

Scatter Shield in place through a normal capture sequence.
HyperLight aimed forward showing Scatter Shield and rear display
Operator view: rear display and Scatter Shield.
HyperLight held in operating position, side view
Side profile: handle, trigger, and shield position.

Purchase terms

Why the unit should come from us, not a marketplace

The hardware is identical. What differs is whether the warranty is honored and who answers when it isn’t.

Authorized Eighteeth dealer

We have been an authorized Eighteeth dealer since 2023. Units bought from an authorized dealer carry the manufacturer warranty. Grey-market and marketplace units frequently do not, and the manufacturer will decline the claim.

↔ Marketplace listing: warranty void or unverifiable

Warranty handled here, not overseas

2 years parts and labor as standard, 3 years on the extended option. Claims are filed with our team and processed domestically.

↔ Marketplace listing: ship overseas at your cost

US-based support and fulfillment

Support team in Salt Lake City, UT. Units ship from our fulfillment center in Dallas, TX.

↔ Marketplace listing: no named support contact

Genuine, current-revision units

Stock is sourced through the manufacturer channel, so serial numbers are registrable and firmware is current.

↔ Marketplace listing: unknown revision or refurbished

Questions

The things buyers leave this page to go research

Yes. The HyperLight is a source only — it does not connect to or communicate with the receptor. Any digital sensor, PSP plate, or film works. You set exposure time on the unit and capture with your existing software.

The HyperLight is FDA Cleared. It is not currently approved for use in Kansas, Missouri, or North Carolina. Every other state is fine, subject to your normal state operator and registration requirements.

No dedicated room is required — that is the point of a handheld. Registration of the unit with your state radiation control program is still required, exactly as with a wall-mounted unit. We provide the documentation you need for that filing.

Up to 500 exposures per charge at 0.5 s. For most practices that is several days of routine imaging. A spare battery can be charged externally so the unit never leaves the floor.

Our team in Salt Lake City, UT. You file the claim with us and we manage it end to end — you do not contact the manufacturer directly.

All in-stock units ship standard within 3–5 business days. Express shipping is available at checkout for an additional fee. Ships free from our Dallas, TX fulfillment center.

14-day return policy; a restocking fee may apply. Warranty coverage is separate and runs 2 or 3 years depending on the option selected.

Formal training is not required for this unit and is not offered as a purchase add-on. For a walkthrough of operation, see Eighteeth’s HyperLight introduction video on YouTube.
